Bruntsfield Designs is an independent company, designing and handcrafting fine furniture from a small workshop outside Edinburgh.
We have our own furniture line – the Northcote Collection – which we deliver UK-wide, as well as offering bespoke services across the Scottish Central Belt.
All of our furniture is built with a deep sense for the art of woodworking, using sustainably sourced, high quality materials. It is designed to improve whatever space it is in and built with the care and timeless style, that will allow it to endure for generations.

is the founder and director of Bruntsfield Designs, and the company is shaped by his design sensibility and love for the craft of furniture making.
He has a background in engineering, but his passion for woodworking began when travelling and participating in volunteer projects. These experiences deepened his appreciation for the diverse cultural approaches, techniques, and materials that enrich woodworking traditions worldwide.
