Bruntsfield Designs is an independent company, designing and making fine furniture from our workshop in Pathhead, outside Edinburgh.
All our furniture is carefully considered, meticulously finished and handcrafted from high quality, sustainably sourced wood. There are two ways of working with us:
Forma, is our modular shelving system which can be configured to suit your needs and your space.
We also do fully bespoke work, from individual pieces, to architectural built-ins.

Dave Patterson founded Bruntsfield Designs in 2020. Since then the company has grown, but it continues to be shaped by his design sensibility and love for the craft of furniture making.
As designers and makers, a commitment to sustainability is integrated throughout our business practices, from responsibly sourcing high-quality materials to minimising waste through intelligent design and recycling off-cuts.
We are dedicated to creating pieces that are not just beautiful and durable, but also embody our responsibility to the planet.
